Question : I do not have any stomach pain, no issues with passing stool, no history of colon cancer, polyps nor hemmoroids for myself or my family.

Yet, when I pass stool once a day in the evening, I find the water bright red, with clotted blood on the toilet paper when I wipe. This has been ongoing for the third day today.

What could these symptoms suggest?

Brief Answer:
Following causes...

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

To my opinion, according to your saying, your symptoms might indicate:

- internal hemorrhoids (that you cannot distinguish by yourself, only by colonoscopy)
- bowel infection
- bowel ulcer

Therefore, following tests are necessary to run:
- culture of feces
- examination of stool for ova/parasites
- colonoscopy

Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.

Hope it helped! Let me know if you have further queries!
