default
Posted on Tue, 24 Mar 2015
Question: Hi Doctor,
Last week, I had bleeding with my stool. Today also, when I pushed hard a little to pass my stool I had bleeding.
And I can feel a little bit swelling also near the area of passing stool. And there is also a cut sensation sometimes while I try hard to push stool or urinating.
Apart from this, I don't have any other symptom. Kindly guide me is this some kind of anal fissure or anything else and also some good remedies to get rid of this.

Brief Answer:
you seems to be having anal fissure.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, it seems that you might be having anal fissure and needs medical attention. Sitz bath at least twice daily is very effective in its treatment. You should also avoid constipation by taking fibre rich foods and salads daily. You can take a laxative for few days to prevent worsening of symptoms due to hard stools. Also drink lots of water daily. Avoid spicy and oily foods. Applying locally Nitroglycerin cream twice daily will decrease your discomfort. You can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals for severe pain. If the symptoms persists, get yourself clinically examined by your doctor.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
