Question : I am on Zoloft, I woke up this morning with a strong urge to urinate, I went and the urine looked to have some blood in it

I read your question and i understand your concern. Zoloft / Sertraline is an SSRI antidepressant and is not even remotely correlated with this blood in urine ( hematuria ) episode.

It needs to be evaluated. A good start will be a urine routine exam. Thinking common brings UTI as first thing in mind followed by bladder infections and kidney stones. A urine exam with abdominal and pelvic sonograms will clear the differentials.

Talk to your PCP and let them have a look into this matter. Till then keep an eye on your urine and see if it recurs and drink plenty of fluids .
