Brief Answer:
Needs to be inveatigated

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Passing blood in urine should never be ignored and you should have some basic investigations.
Common causes are a urinary tract infection, stones in the urinary tract, but a sinister cause would be a bladder or kidney tumour.
You should get an ultrasound of your kidneys and bladder done with a full bladder and also after you have passed urine.
You should give your urine for a routine analysis for pus cells and protein and also for urinary cytology and morphology for any kidney ailments.
You should have a complete blood picture and serum creatinine estimation done.
An xray of your kidneys and bladder region (KUB) might be required though a CT scan might be more useful, especially with contrast if kidney function is detected to be normal.
I hope I have been of help. I sincerely suggest you get these done as early as possible.
Regards.
