Brief Answer:
I will recommend you get your urine checked!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this blood in urine. I will recommend that you get your urine checked. Blood in urine for such a duration could represent an infection, a kidney stone, a bladder disease, etc. Also, have you ever been tested for this or have you ever reported this to your physician? The most important thing to do will be a urine test for orientation. If a particular problem is identified, more targeted investigation would be done. For the moment, drink much water and observe your urine to tell me if blood is present at the beginning, end or all through the urine stream. This blood is not caused by the colonoscopy but a condition that needs to be investigated and managed accordingly. As for a physician, I will recommend a urologist seen the duration of this blood in urine for one and a half years.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
