Question : I have had loose stool for the past few days (4 to 5) and have noticed a mucus in my stool and on the paper when I wipe. Today was the same except I am now seeing some blood mixed in as well. The blood appears fairly red and not a dark color. I have experienced some cramping also. I have not eaten much today due to lack of appetite but my appetite has been fairly normal until today. The only significant change in my daily routine is that I have recently started taking Lisinopril 10mg for high blood pressure. I started taking the medication about 2 weeks ago.

The cause of bleeding is definitely not related to Lisinopril tablet which you have been taking for blood pressure.
Rectal bleeding at your age requires thorough clinical examination and assessment by your Physician to know the cause for bleeding. I would suggest you to consult your Physician for detailed clinical examination and assessment.
