Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Injury to the bladder during catheterization leads to damage to bladder lining, and the urine will be mixed with blood or will be blood tinged till the injury is completely healed.
You should report this to your treating doctor, and he/she might consider delaying the removal of catheter by one week more, so as to facilitate healing of the bladder injury.Delay should be considered in your case and catheter should be removed once the urine is no more blood tinged.

 Urine routine and microscopic examination
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, yes you should get a urine routine and microscopic examination from the urine collected from the catheter. If it shows more than 10 red blood cells per high power field, then the catheter removal should be delayed by another one week.
