Question : Hi my husband is in A& E due to vomitting blood last night having taken gloclav 625 x 2 doses in quick succession. He took them for what thought was `strep throat`
Brief Answer:
Probably stomach ulcer
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Blood vomiting is a typical symptom of bleeding stomach ulcer so I don't think this is related to throat issue and medication. Endoscopy will probably be done and bleeding will be stopped then so you don't need to worry. You may upload the reports in the follow up so that I can guide you further. Wish you good health. Regards
