Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Crampy abdominal pain associated with mucous in stools is a sign of infection of the colon known as enteritis. The bright red blood is because of the hemorrhoids and it is unrelated to the mucous.
Here is what you should do
1. I recommend that you take antibiotics, a combination antibiotic like ciproflox with tinidazole is ideal. It has to be taken for 5 days
2. I suggest you take Tab Hyoscine twice daily along with Tab omeprazole once daily before food for the crampy pain
3. If the problem persists then you will have to approach a doctor for a stool routine
4. I suggest you undergo hemorrhoidectomy as soon as possible
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
