Question : my left eye isn't focusing well. I have the start of shingles 2 weeks ago on my face.

I think there can be shingle lesions on the cornea and it will not heal well without proper therapy.
I suggest you to immediately see an Ophthalmologist who can intervene early before the complications set in.
I am sorry about the problem and it can turn serious amounting to loss of vision.
