Brief Answer:
Diabetes

Detailed Answer:
I follow what you are saying. Sorry to note your medical symptoms.

When I see someone like you in my practice, I first examine their vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure and if these are abnormal I refer them to the Emergency room/ call 911 depending on the degree of urgency.

The next step is to quickly check the good glucoses levels with a fingerstick using a meter. If the reading is above 250, again I direct patients to the emergency room. Often I check their blood ketones too using a different type of meter.

Build up of ketones in the body signals a dangerous complication of diabetes called DKA (Diabetic Keto Acidosis)/ HHS (Hyperglycemic Hyperosmolar State).

If none of the above situations are present, then I order the following tests in addition to a thorough physical examination:

CBC
CMP
HbA1c
Lipids
TSH

Based on the results of this comprehensive evaluation I would make a treatment plan that would likely include medication unless the glucoses are not very high in which case a trial of lifestyle changes may be worthwhile.

This entails a referral to a dietician to learn about healthy eating, and increased physical activity along with weight control.

I have blurry vision.... all my symptoms are subsiding..... but I am still worried... what can I eat that is safe....? Is drinking alot of water good?

I drink
water
coffee no sweeteners
water and wey protein isolates shake

I eat
2 eggs and 1 strip bacon for breakfast
steamed brocoli for lunch

cranberry juice
skinless grilled chick with no flavor

NO BREAD
just started potassium pills this evening

I do have minimal anxiety but I believe this is due to fear.

My assistant started last december feeding me rie bread with jelly 4 slices 2 times a day... THATS ALL I ATE FOR A YEAR... is there potassium in bread? I believe this horrible diet is what led to this issue.

I will tell you the symptoms are subsiding each day
I feel stronger
better paced energy...
I have had no leg cramps (before I was limited to 2 in the morning each day)
I have no more muscle pain (aching arms and legs)

no fizzy thinking (diabetic shock type symptoms)
the only symptom I have left is a little long distance vision.....issues not much...
can I get a private chat consultation?

please charge back my account..... false advertising

Detailed Answer:
1 White bread does not have a lot of potassium in it but breads containing more XXXXXXX and whole grain have considerably more potassium. 2 Your symptoms are varied. They deserve a systematic in-person assessment to get to the bottom of things. It is very important to diagnose the cause of these complaints instead of just trying to manage the individual symptoms. This is the core principle of medicine. 3 So when I see someone like you in my practice I first ensure the vital signs are stable and there are no alarming features on physical examination. Once that is assured, I proceed to order tests such as : CBC, CMP, TSH, Free T4, HbA1c as the first round of screening tests.
