Brief Answer:
viral infections most common

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Fever, headache, muscle and joint pain are usually in keeping with an infection, viral infection are more common.

The flu virus would be the most common viral infection.

Depending on your location (eg if a tropical region or prevalence of mosquito borne illnesses) then other viral infections such as zika, dengue would be considered.
If these are not conditions that occur in your area then they would not need to be considered as possible diagnosis.

Treatment would generally include rest, fluids and paracetamol to help with the fever and aches.
If any additional symptoms develop then these can be treated symptomatically eg if cough or nasal symptoms occur then these can be treated with over the counter cough suppressants , anti histamines and decongestants

If a wet cough occurs then a mucolytic to help break up the mucus would be added eg bisolvan, mucomyst, guaifenesin

If there is no improvement or symptoms worsen then you should see your doctor for an assessment

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questionss
