Question: 2 year old with rash. No known allergies. Rash is two days old, no fever, no loss of appetite, just a runny nose.

Brief Answer: Monitor the rashes closely. Detailed Answer: Hi The reddish rash known as papules are more present around the umbilicus, chest, abdomen and back. Is there associated itching? From the clinical photograph provided by you, it appears to be one of the following 1. Rash associated with upper respiratory tract infection 2. Milia: Blockade of sweat glands especially when the weather is hot and humid. 3. 2. Scabies: If there is itching and the rash is also present between finger spaces and groin. I would suggest you the following 1. Bath The baby twice a day after Oil massage. Remove Complete traces of Oil Using Either Himalaya Body wash or XXXXXXX & XXXXXXX Body wash. Its very importan to remove the oil traces completely 2. Local application of Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream all over and followed by application Of Himalaya Baby powder or J & J baby powder If the rash does not seem to get better in next couple of days. I recommend that you see a doctor for detailed examination. V Do let me know about the progress. Will be happy to assist you anytime.
