Question: Im a mother of a 5 year old girl. My name is XXXX and my daughter's name is XXXX. My daughter keeps complaining of pain in all her bones even her spine. She's as playful and energetic as any other her age but this complain is worrying me. Also because my ex- husband had a condition called AVN. I do not know whether this condition is passed genetically. Also vitamin D deficiency also comes to my mind. Im really worried please help.

Brief Answer:
Further evaluation needed.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I do not suppose that the pain is due to AVN (Avascular Necrosis) or Osteonecrosis. Rather, the most likely cause would be a harmless growing pain. Nevertheless, other causes need to be ruled out. The vitamin D levels need to be checked. The first step would be to visit a doctor and to get her clinically evaluated. Depending on the findings further tests may ensue.
