Question : Each time I eat a hot meal in particular I need to empty my bowels almost immediately and sometimes it contains blood, then I find I need to go at least three or four times until just liquid is being passed. I have little or no control so dare not venture far from a toilet????

You should definitely consult a doctor. Blood in stool along with other symptoms can appear due to bacterial infection, inflammatory bowels disease or even colon cancer.
Please do not wait with it. Blood work, abdominal ultrasound and colonoscopy should be done for sure.
