Question : During urination I feel a need to pass gas and always release a small amount of very soft stool instead. I have daily bowel movements which seem very normal, but can't seem to urinate without this problem. This has been going on for some 3-5 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
- Feeling the need to pass gas and always release a small amount of very soft stool instead is indicative for possible incontinence (first degree). I advise to get your anal sphincter checked by proctologist and to run anoscopy to see the structures of anal area.
- Can you tell if other symptoms are present like bloating? gas? nausea? heartburn? pain while urinating or passing the stool?
- Can you also tell if you have been lifting heavy weights during prior to these problems? Or if you have had problems with constipation?
Looking forward to have your additional data in!

None of these symptoms are present. I do have very occasional heartburn, but this has been going on for years. I also have not been living weights and typically do not have constipation problems.
I should have told you I am recovering from my annual bout with a cold in the chest and head, but that is nearly behind me after some 15 days. This problem has never been associated with colds in the past.
If this persists I will follow your advice and see a proctologist.
Thank You!
