Brief Answer:
Yes, Sinus infection may cause snoring and breathing problem

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your query; and for your information,we naturally want to breathe through our noses. But some people cannot breathe through their noses because of obstruction of the nasal passages. This obstruction can be caused by a sinus infections and / or swelling of the turbinates.

To rule out other disease or to reach the near diagnosis you may go for anterior rhinoscopy, nasal endoscopy and laryngoscopy after consulting with your doctor.

Thanks
