Question : Hi,
I am having dark brown thick discharge specially on toilet tissues. it is coming since yesterday morning however I can feel baby movement. This discharge is since yesterday morning and today morning I have noticed back pain along with contraction (frequency 6-10 minutes, duration 30-50 Seconds). Now the back pain is not frequent but the discharge is still coming. Please advise

Brown discharge along with uterine contractions and back pain can be due to preterm labour or small placental haemorrhage.
Since there is a high probability of starting of labour, I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist as soon as possible to get properly examined, investigated including ultrasound and get appropriate treatment, preferably as an inpatient.

Hi,
I did consult my Gynae yesterday, when the discharge started yesterday morning. NST was done and she mentioned everything is normal and its start of labor. But, I am still worried as the brown thick discharge is continuing today. PFA the NST report. Please advise.

The brown discharge is due to the mucus with blood which is coming out due to opening of the cervix, to prepare for the delivery of the baby.
The attached NST report is completely normal.
