What Causes Brown Discoloration On The Tooth Roots?

default
Posted on Wed, 9 Nov 2016
Question: My question is dental, I think. I have had receding gums for years. however the gums have been generally healthy. Recently they have the part of the tooth root that has been exposed has turned dark brown. Brushing more vigorously in that area doesn't seem to matter, tho there's some improvement if I use hydrogen peroxide. This is affecting all of my molars and up to my canines. What could I have done to get this?
