Question : hello I've seen a dr. He said nothing to be alarmed about . I'm getting std test just to be safe anyways. but why would I have those brownish patches on my penis head? if you put touch on it my penis, you cant even see it, its only when there is no light directly on it. I don't know if I'm being paranoid. I have noticed them before. It doesn't itch, it isn't sore, nothing. any suggestions?

                                    Brief Answer:
There is nothing to worry in this.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query and picture. The brownish patches is due to sloughing of outer membrane most likely. This can be due to to dryness or fungal infection you might had before. Avoid using soaps and irritants to wash the area. Use just warm water. You can use aloe vera gel for local application on this.
Let me know if anything no clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Okay thanks .. If I use aloe Vera how long should I use the application.. Should the patches dissapear completely? How long will this take? Also do you think it would be a mild yeast infection? Should I take any cream for it? Or it's most likely dryness ? Thanks

Aloe vera you can use it for 4 weeks.

Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up.
Aloe vera you can use it for 4 weeks. 4 to 6 weeks is usually needed for normalization of skin. Gradually it might get disappear in that time period. Most likely it is due to dryness. But If you feel irritation or discomfort then yeast infection can be present still and in that case you can use anti fungal creams like miconazole.

You can apply once or twice a day. After the shower is ok to apply. If it doesn't go away and with out symptoms also it is no worrisome. But mostly it will fade with time.
