Question : I shave 1 week ago today. I shave all the way bare and wasn't as careful as I should have been. I may have nicked the pubic region. That night I had sex with a condom on. The next day I woke up with a brown colored spot right in pubic region where condom would end. Its been 1 week and seems to be healing.

Brief Answer:
Likely to be a result of trauma from shaving

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

I have taken note of your query and I have understood it.

The brown spot that you noticed next day after sex was most likely a minute cut or an abrasion that you must have sustained while shaving. It is unlikely to be an STD as STD's usually don't present so soon i.e within a few hours of sexual contact. I advise you to apply a topical antibacterial cream e.g 2%mupirocin cream twice daily over the concerned area.

Regards
