Question : I have been having some brown spots at my back and sometimes on my face.

Hi

I had taken a look at your picture. It was not a tell tale picture to help you understand the possibilities of those spots. It look like freckles but not sure.

What is your race? Few races have sun burns and freckles.
Do you have sun burns? Do you spend a lot of time in the sun?

You can try sun screens and see if the spots fade gradually over a month's time.

I suggest a dermatologist's look at them and treat them effectively.

Light skinned Black Woman. Dont really spebd much time in the sun but though it looks like freckles is there any treatment or medications?

Hi,

You can try over the counter kojic acid peelers.

In case you smoke it might increase it, you should quit. Dab on some sun screen every day before you go out. Cover all over the body and carry a hat with umbrella. These should work.
