Question: Hi
Im 10 weeks pregnant and had some spotting in early weeks.
Today again i have spotted some mild light brownish blood on the tissue
I went to my doc and she did a vaginal inspection said everything is ok.
But im still scared what should i do

Hi XXXXXXX I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Spotting in early gestation can be due to threatened or missed abortion, or due to bleeding . around the fetus (subchorionic bleed).
The exact diagnosis can be confirmed by an ultrasound, as vaginal inspection cannot differentiate between the two conditions.
I will suggest you to get an ultrasound done to assess the fetal well being and confirm the diagnosis.

I checked with my doctor and she said there was no need as she did not detect any spot. I did have a clot in the early week which went away at 7 weeks.
Also ive not spotted any discharge since (please note im on pogestrone suppository so could that be a cause?

Thanks for responding.
Cause of bleeding in first trimester of pregnancy should be sought for, and missed abortion and sub chorionic bleeding should be ruled out.
These conditions can cause occasional bleeding and that's why your doctor might not had found spotting at the time of examination.
Progesterone suppositories do not cause bleeding from vagina.
You can get an ultrasound per abdomen done on your own.
You can get back to me with the reports.
