Question : Hi, I have been diagnosed with PCOS and the gynecologist that i consulted prescribed me diane 35 for 2 cycles at first and there was a dramatic improvement in my hormones since i was having high LH. As it was completely not cured she again kept me on diane 35 for 3 cycles and didn't ask to see again. I was to conceive from right away as she told me that it is OK. On November 20th I took the last pill and got my period on 26th November which bit 6 days earlier than the last period date. I was on my period for 7 days as usual and on the 5th day after the period i got brownish color on my cervical mucus and lasted for 12 hours. Can that be a problem, should i be worried about it
Brief Answer:
common effects of pill
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, I understand your problem but it is very common to have decreased flow after few cycles of pill intake and it is good for your health also.
But in case you want to conceive then now leave the pills and start trying for conception.
In case you have other questions I will be happy to help.

Thank you for the answer,I just wanna clarify one more thing, that is i read on the internet and from other sources got information that it is not possible to cure PCOS completely but can only be cured for a period of time. While i was on diane 35 it controlled my hormones and now its OK. I wonder now i have come off the pill and it has been already 18 days is there any possibility that my hormones will get higher again. My next question when i am trying to conceive as been PCOS patient what additional precautions i need to take to cure PCOS.
Brief Answer:
exercise and diet
Detailed Answer:
You are absolutely right that PCOD can be cured only for a while and will return back over a period of time eventually with same or lower venegence.
Only thing you can do is dietary modifications and exercise daily to reduce weight in case you are overweight bit even if you are normal weight then also light walk daily will improve your metabolism.
Take lots of fresh salads and vegetables daily and almonds and walnuts are very good for you.
I hope the information is useful.
Take care.
