Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Was any urine testing done before starting the Alprim ?
Also, when was your last period ?
Do you have regular cycles or do you often experience such spotting / discharge ?
Are you sexually active , on birth control etc ?
Is the abdominal pain better now ?
Has it ever happened before to you ?
What was done for evaluation of the pain - internal exam, ultrasound, blood tests ?
Are you having any problems in urination or passing motions ?
ANy fever ?
Please do write back with more details.
Take care.

Detailed Answer:
I wonder why you were started on Alprim if the urine testing was clear and you have no infection.
What you describe sounds like endometriosis.
This is a condition where there is presence of active tissue outside the pelvis, which normally lines the inner side of the uterus ( endometrium ).
It typically leads to excruciating cramping and pain and unpredictable spotting.
IT could be a fibroid, polyp or a cyst too.
You need to consult a gynecologist and have a detailed pelvic exam - per vaginum and per speculum.
Also, a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan.
Hormonal levels should be done to rule out polycystic ovaries or hypothyroidism - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone, etc
Take care.
