Question : Hello my name is XXXXXXX .my period is suppose to come Saturday 21st of this month . I took norethisterone yesterday 3 times daily . My doctor told me , but I'm seeing brown discharge . Does it mean . I will still get my period or what . Will the pill still delay my period or I might get my period ?

Brown vaginal discharge is a sign period and is early due to use of norethisterone.
Use of norethisterone three times daily can prepone periods, because it is a bit higher dosage.

Hi dear again!

If you will continue to take norethisterone three times daily brown vaginal discharge can stop after about tow to three days or can cause again brown vaginal discharge as a side effect of it's use.
Hence better don't take norethisterone and let for breakthrough periods.
