Can be acute bacterial infection

Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had been experiencing lately.

Based on the history and images you have shared, though these doesn't look very alarming however these small lesions can be petechial hemmoraghes which are due to small capillary ruptures which can occur here due go excessive coughing or sneezing or deranged clotting profile.

Signs of fungal or viral infection doesn't seem to exist however if you look deeply, you xan appreciate mildly swollen tonsils and infammation of posterior pharyngeal wall and this can all be due to acute bacterial infection and it may require a course of antibiotics like augmentin or azithromycin as well as anti inflammatory drugs like acetaminophen or ibuprofen alongwith anti histamines like cetrizine or loratidine.

Doing gargles with XXXXXXX warm saline water may also help. If these spots progress or are associated with high grade fever etc kindly get it reviewed in detail by an ENT specialist or otolaryngologist.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

Brief Answer:
It can wait for few days but if it progresses get it reviewed then

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for the appreciation. By the look of it, yes your findings are right and we had discussed it earlier too that's why if it didn't respond to gargles, anti histamines or progressed further, then for antibiotics course you may need to get it reviewed first. Hopefully it will resolve with in few days. Regards.
