Question : Dear Dr. I have a spot on the left side of my abdomen that feels like a bruise when touched. I do not feel any bumps/lumps...just a bruise...right under my rib cage, left side of abdomen....Thank you. XXXX

How did you notice the bruise?Since how long it has been there?Has there been any change in colour or size since then?Does it hurt?Itch?Any history of injury in that are?
Do you have fever?
Did you ever have nose, gum bleed?
Did you have similar bruise in past?Anywhere else on your body?
Any history of surgical/medical illness?Medication history?
