Question : I had broken my right tibia in 2010. Due to the nature of the injury, they implanted a titanium rod down the length of the bone and screwded it in at my ankle and just below my knee. I started working out about 3 months ago. I have noticed that there is brusining that is occuring just below my knee where two screws were implanted into the bone. The brusing is internal, as it goes away a few days after I squat and deadlift, and returns again after I work my legs out again. Is this something that I should be concerned about?
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Brusing could be due to impingement of screws below knee during workout.
There is nothing to worry. If pain occurs, removal of screws could be planned.
Hope this helps you.
Warm regards.
