Question : i took a hard fall in the kitchen at work (it flooded). I have a bruise that is about the size of 3 fists. it is black. and goes all the way into my pelvic area. I did the splits. felt like i hit the butt bone. hard to sit. big knot

this was obviously a significant hit but usually there is just muscle contusion and hematoma often develop which may persist for up to 2 weeks. You should apply cold compresses,heparin gel and sit on soft surfaces.If there will be worsening,you should do XRAYS to rule out sacrum fracture. Wish you good health. Regards
