From the description you have provided,it looks like you have developed a lesion of cystic acne over the face .
But I would like to have a look at the exact skin condition.
Please click some close up pictures of the affected area and upload them here on this page .
Also please tell what all have you been applying over the affected area.

it's the spot under my right nostril...you can't even see it as its colorless and has no dome. I have applied my normal salicylic acid regimen but nothing more. I'm also having a flare up of my normal acne as well.

Brief Answer:
Cystic acne ,will take time to go

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I have seen the attached picture.
You seem to have developed a lesion of acne cystica.
It is basically a lesion of acne only and can present with development of solid, movable ,sometimes inflamed lesions over the face .
You need not apply anything over it if it is not red or inflamed.
In most cases ,such lesions tend to heal in their own in few weeks .
Only if the lesion tends to persist longer or increases further ,you can plan to see a nearby dermatologist who can give a steroid infection into the lesion for early resolution.
Also avoid touching or manipulating the lesion since it might irritate it further .
