Question : Hi,
50 year old male. In the last 2 weeks Oral sex from new partner, but also a week of water sports that. Penis was kind of sensitive so I looked closely and I have some red (in sunlight) more brown looking in indoor light, bumps on my urethra. There are a few right along the edge and some a few millimeters below the "edge".
I've been watching them for nearly a week and almost no change. I really don't think it's herpies as there is no pain, no itching and no eruption (I get cold sores on my mouth so I kind of know what it's like). They look almost like little blood blisters. The "lower or deeper ones" aren't that visible unless I stretch the skin and then it is almost like they surface. The ones on top are dry.
No pain, itching or burning..."Maybe a slight "sensitivity" but no pain when urnitating. I "think" this is from abrasion or irritation of the area while wearing wet board shorts for most of a week while surfing but would like some confirmation as I've seen nothing that looks like this on the internet.
Thanks for any guidance...

Brief Answer:
No need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I have checked the attached images. It does not look concerning. I do not think that you need to bother. Possibly it is due to some abrasion during your sexual act. It is not herpes.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards

Thanks Doctor..Based on your answer, I will not worry anymore but am still curious..
.Do you have any Idea what it is. I see other questions on the internet about these "small red or brown bumps" with no pain or itching...and often the answer is "don't worry", but none with explanations... Do you know what it is.?..Is it some kind of vein issue (broken blood vessels?)Or a gland issue? Does it go away?
Thanks... Also, No chance it is warts? Doesn't look like any I've seen, but again, just checking...
Thanks again!

Brief Answer:
Possibly due to ruptured blood vessels. Not a cause for concern.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. It is possibly due to some minor subcutaneous bleeding due to some ruptured blood vessel. It is not a gland issue and not a wart. It should eventually go away. It does not seem to be a cause for concern.
