I suggest culture and sensitive testing to identify the causative pathogen
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have taken note of your query.
I suggest a possibility of recurrent bacterial folliculitis.
Some individuals are carriers of staph. aureus on skin and this can present as recurrent bacterial folliculitis.
This can happen more commonly in hot and humid weather conditions.
I suggest you to go for a culture and sensitivity testing from one of these bumps.
This would identify the causative bacteria and also will determine its antibiotic sensitivity.
One of the oral antibiotics to which the isolated bacteria is sensitive can then be started for 2-3 weeks to eradicate carrier state.
Topically you may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% Mupirocin ointment twice daily.
Use an antibacterial soaps for daily bath. Bath twice daily.
Wear loose fitting cotton clothes and cotton undergarments.
