Brief Answer:
may be fibroid tissue or cyst

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The bumps maybe due to fibroid tissue (scar tissue formation) or due to the formation of a cyst (a sac that can collect fluid).
Cysts can form as a result of trauma.

Both of these can occur as part of the body's inflammatory process and can resolve on their own though resolution can sometimes be incomplete meaning that a small lump may remain.

Even if there is no or minimal pain, the use of an anti inflammatory pain medication , if you can use these, would help to reduce any inflammation present that may be contributing to the lump eg ibuprofen, naproxen, cataflam, voltaren, aspirin

Inflammation and damage to soft tissues and superficial veins would contribute the the swelling of the leg. It may also aggravate any previous
The medication may help this as well.

If the fall was severe, this swelling can sometimes persist for weeks.

In addition to the medication, if possible, you can continue with the elevation. Use heat if there is pain but because heat causes dilation of blood vessels , it can sometimes contribute the swelling

I hope this helps , feel free to ask any other questions
