What Causes Bumps On The Scrotum?

default
Posted on Tue, 6 Sep 2016
Question: I had many bumps of various sizes on my scrotum, black color, for many months. My wife rubbed these with undiluted apple cider vinegar, which made most of them white. Since then, my skin is very much inflamed and painful. Are these genital warts or something more serious?

Hi,

I have uploaded the picture. As I said earlier, it used to be all black spots, exactly the way in the surrounding area around the white spots. The white spots are after I applied undiluted apple cider vinegar, which cause a lot of pain and not seeming to be getting better. Before I had no pain or itching. I used to be with another woman two years ago and might have gotten it from her. My new wife has similar black spots and has been diagnosed with genital warts. Any help would be much appreciated.

Brief Answer:
Condition not related warts.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome back and thanks for posting the picture.

After diligently analyzing the picture and correlating with your details let me reassure you that the eruptions are not related to warts. These are known as angiokeratoma. These are formed due to proliferation of small capillaries and the skin over it. These are never infectious and are very much benign structure.

In yourself you have actually burnt the ski which has formed ulceration and now getting secondary infection. In such kind of cases it is very important to get a proper treatment from a doctor to prevent further aggravation of the condition.

For the interim of the help I suggest your to do cold water compressions to give immediate relief for the burning sensation. You can do it for 5 minutes even hourly.

You can take any pain killer tablet available over the counter to reduce the pain till you meet a doctor.

I again reassure you that the eruptions are not related to warts or any Sexually transmitted infection.

I hope this helps.
