What Causes Bumps On The Shaft Of The Penis?
I'm a bit concerned and from what I read it could be either website are conflicting on their info (not thay I ever trust the Web over a real dr!). the do stick out from the skin but are flat. They are round but not perfectly and as you can see they are not grouped together.
I have not asked how long they have been there or if they changed shape. I also know you cannot give 100% certainty over the Internet.
Std cases may present in same way.

Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.
You've done a very wise and timely act,to consult an Urologist.
You must accompany him to an Urologist or skin specialist (dermatologist).
After a careful examination of the peins, proper testing for a diagnosis is advised.
A STD panel tests are mandatory, especially VDRL,HIV and HbsAg.
Be present during the doctor's consultation,to know if it's a STD.
Avoid sexual intercourse, till the diagnosis is made.
Avoid oral intercourse by all means,as oral transmission of HPV is well known.
Advise him to maintain good penile hygiene.
Wish you good health.

if it is that....what are the chances of me getting it if we use a condom?
warts are hpv correct? and you have hpv for life correct? can it not sometimes keep itself in check? if the warts are removed will that lesson the chance of it spreading?
Only tests can give a confirmed diagnosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
My provisional diagnosis is based, on an experience of about 26 years in Urology.
But only the tests can confirm any diagnosis.
My impression is purely from the photos you've sent.
Once the confirmation or negative reports come,it'll be easier to advise you further.
If at all you do engage in sex, ensure usage of a condom and avoid oral sex.
Wish you well.
