Question : I have a burning feeling from my center right hip , down the back of my leg. it is highly discomfortable to walk sit or even just stand. My right foot has a slight tingle like it is going to sleep. there is no swelling or dis coloring, but no pain. what can cause this. note it's been doing this for 5 days now.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It is likely to be sciatica due to radiation from lumbar spine. You are likely to be having lumbar spondylosis( degenerative spine) as it is common in your age. It may be causing sciatica. It can be confirmed by x ray and MRI of lumbar spine.Pain is likely to be reduced by rest in lateral position and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Mecobalamine help in reducing numbness.
