Question : I AM HAVING A BURNING IN THE INSIDE OF PENIS FOR 2 WEEKS. THE PAIN EBBS AND INCREASES WITH SOME PERIODS WHEN I THINK I A CURED, I MASTURBATE HEAVILY IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE PROBLEM AROSE AND THAT MAY BE A POSSIBLE CAUSE. URINATION HAS SOME SMALL PAIN BUT I CAN EMPTY THE BLADDER ALTHOUGH PROSTATE INVOLVEMENT MAY BE SUSPECTED. I USUALLY DO NOT WEAR UNDERWEAR WHICH MAY CONTRIBUTE TO HYGEINE ISSUES.THE PENIS SEEMS TO HAVE SHRUNK AS A PAIN RES[PONSE 62 YEEARS OLD ,DMT2 WELL CONTROLLED A1C=6.0

Brief Answer: It could bedue to Urethritis . Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have acquired inflammation of the Urethra and Prostate due to excessive masturbation Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Routine urine test and culture to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to. 2) Ultra sound scanning of the abdomen to rule out enlarged prostate. In the mean while take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report. Further treatment will be decided by him on findings of these tests.
