Question : i am type 2 diabetic. Have HBP. both under control with medication.
for last 2 days, burning pain in lower left leg. swelling in left foot and ankle.
Whats up?

There are some causes of the above mentioned symptoms but the most probable in a diabetic patient are;
- High acid uric levels ( gutae)
-Arteriopathy of the left leg, causing alterations in the blood circulation.
To confirm one of the above diagnosis, a careful clinical examination and acid uric level are helpful.
