Brief Answer:
For how long have you had this? Since surgery or new development?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this burning sensation. Has it been this way since surgery or is this s recent development? If it has been like this since surgery, then likely that is a wound that has never healed. It would need carefully investigation to identify and handle properly. Ask the surgeon about this.

If this is a new development, it may suggest a urinary tract infection and needs treatment with antibiotics. Also, drink enough water to enabling cleansing.

How long this would last depends on the exact cause and treatment put in place.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

This is a fairly new development- it wasn't the case following surgery. It presented itself about three weeks ago, and has got progressively worse, although not unbearable. What do you suggest?

Brief Answer:
Get your urine analysed!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up.

For now, I will recommend that you get a urinalysis screen done. These symptoms could be suggestive of a possible urinary tract infection.

Keep me update with the progress. I wish you well.
