Brief Answer:
may be urethritis or cystitis

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The discomfort on urination may be due to urethritis, this refers to inflammation of the urethra which is the passage just after the bladder or cystitis (inflammation of the bladder).

Urethritis and cystitis are most commonly due to infection but this would likely have been ruled out with an in office and lab urine analysis.
If this has not been done, then both should be as soon as possible

Other causes of include:(1) side effect of some medications
(2)autoimmune diseases such as lupus or RA
(3)post radiation
(4)trauma
(5)some persons react to the chemicals in perfumed soaps or bathwater

If the symptoms continue or worsen then you may need to see an urologist for assessment.

This would involve physical examination and imaging as well.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
