Question : I have a burning area in left breast with some armpit pain as well as shoulder. Had manmogram and negative last April but the burning is just beside breast and feels squishy. Have appointment with breast specialist but am wondering what this can be! It seems to burn a lot in that one spot. No rash visible.

I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
I will just tell you what are different conditions which can lead to burning behind breast and armpit pain.
Brachial Plexus Injury
Chemical burn -- ingestion
Lymphadenitis
Tietz syndrome

As you said you have undergone mammography last april so first thing I will advice is a repeat mammography test to rule out any malignancy. You said there isnt any rash so it rules out chances of infection.
You said you dont get relieved by ibuprofen. So I will suggest you few more treatment options.
Hot fomentation can reduce burning.
Acetaminophen, such as Tylenol
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as naproxen (Aleve or Naprosyn), or aspirin (Anacin, Bayer).
