What Causes Burning Sensation In Incision Area After A Hysterectomy?

Question: I am 05 days post op from a lap. hysterectomy. My incision area burns, is ungodly painful and weeps but the most concerning part is that I keep getting hot / cold flashes, uncontrollable sweating and these dizzy spells where I actually pads out. I have not over exerted myself since surgery and I am not taking any medication.
Brief Answer:
Could be infection. See your Surgeon.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
These could be signs of infection.
I suggest you get yourself shown to your Gynecologist who did the Surgery. You might need some blood tests and medications like antibiotics and anti inflammatory agents.
Please arrange an appointment whenever earliest you can. If you cant see the Gyne then see any Surgeon who can examine you and advice accordingly.
In the mean time, drink plenty of water and avoid fiddling or touching the wound site.
Take care and please get evaluated.
Let me know if there are any other queries you would like answered.
