Brief Answer:
Could be inflammatory joint disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back. There are a number of causes for burning sensation. I would have helped better if you had answers all the questions. Most common differential includes:

- Inflammatory joint disease
- peripheral neuropathy
- caludication due to atherosclerosis

I would suggest you to take anti-inflammatory agents like ibuprofen thrice a day for 2-3 days. If it improves then good and if not then you need to visit hospital and set an appointment for a Rheumatologist(In particular). He will examine the joint and may perform some investigations like RA factor, C-Reactive protein assay to confirm the diagnosis. Further management will depend upon the results.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
