Brief Answer:
Possible nerve compression

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Burning sensation around knee joint during kneeling could be due to nerve compression in this position.
2. I am here assuming the burning sensation is around the joint area. If in other areas, will require more details.
3. I do not think there is any joint specific problem like arthritis or bursitis. It is most probably due to reduced space and nerve compression. Avoiding kneeling should relieve the pain. If it persists despite the change in position, peripheral neuropathy needs to be thought of.
4. If pain still persists despite a change in position, history of any chronic diseases like diabetes mellitus, etc or any medications, recently started before onset of pain will be necessary. Neuropathic pain can be relieved by amitriptylin. You will require prescription from your doctor.

Do get back with more details.
Hope it helps.
