Brief Answer:
IT is gastritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
It means that you are having gastritis.
In simple words - acidity.
This happens when you do not eat for prolonged periods or consume a very spicy meal.
Sometimes, it happens for no particular reason during pregnancy, as a hormonal effect.
You can treat it by some simple guidelines.
Never wake up on an empty stomach.
Have a piece of toast or some crackers right when you get out of bed.
Limit your intake of tea, coffee, alcohol, spices.
Space out your meals, eating every 2 -3 hours ( snacking ) instead of 2 - 3 major meals.
Have chilled milk at night before going to bed.
Prop yourself up when you sleep ( head up ).
Also, if none of this helps, you can try and take medications such as Pantop - D or milk or magnesia ( anti acidity drugs ).
All the best
