Brief Answer:
Be careful with foods/drinks,& use following herbs

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Having a sinus infection is caused by a virus. The same virus might also decrease stomach acidity, causing stomach burning especially during night time.

At these cases, if I was your caring doctor would advise to:
- eat often, small portions and chew up slowly
- have your dinner at least 5 hours before going to bed
- avoid foods that would lower stomach pH: citrus, spicy, chilly, tomatoes, etc.
- raise your head when sleeping
- use herbs like lemon balm, peppermint and German chamomile to ease heartburn

Milk might be a short-term solution to heartburn when it is first taken (within first half an hour). After that, it will turn into "yogurt" due to stomach acidity, turning the stomach pH much more acidic, and aggravating the symptoms more.

I also highly recommend to take OTC antacids and PPIs to reduce the symptoms.

Hope it helped!
