Looks like gastritis
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX
Welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist from Fortis Hospital.
Central burning sensation in chest is mostly gastritis.
Cardiac pain is non localized, squeezing type & increase on exertion or stress. If that is not so in your case then this pain is most likely to be gastritis.
I'll recommend you to take antiacidity medication like Pantoprazole 40mg.
If this pain persists or increases than it will warrant further evaluation in form of ECG & cardiac enzymes.
I'll also recommend you for a test called stress echo to rule out future risks of heart disease, when this current pain goes away.
Thanks & take care

Thanks a lot XXXXXXX for your advice. I have some basic insurance which does not cover anything until first 3000 dollars medical expenses met from my pocket.
If I want to go to hospital and request for ECG & cardiac enzymes, stress echo- may I know how much it costs me for these tests. I am feeling nervous somehow and want to visit hospital for checkup. Please let me know the cost of these tests.
Thanks Again.

Hi,
Welcome back.
First of all cardiac enzymes are tests of emergency. They are to rule out that you are not having any acute heart condition. They need not to be done on elective basis. They have to be done in case of typical chest pain when ECG does not clarify the picture. In XXXXXXX it costs around 3000 to 5000 rupees(prices vary from country to country).
ECG costs around 500 XXXXXXX rupees.
Stress echo is a wonderful test & you should definitely do it to rule out any future possibilities of heart event. That is to be done only when you are not having the chest pain. If negative, risks of having a heart attack in near future is negligible.
It costs around 3000-5000 XXXXXXX rupees.
If you want to do some additional tests for your health, I'll also recommend for a Lipid profile which costs around 1500 rupees in XXXXXXX
Prices vary from country to country & state to state, so you have to check yourself about the price in your place.
If you have any more question, I'll be happy to help.
Wishing you a good health.
Thanks & take care
