Question : About 8 hours ago I had a burning sensation in the outer corner of my left eye. I took my contacts out and the pain moved to the left side of my face, and spread around my eye socket and now feels like it is around the left part of my head and down into my left chest. What could this be? Does it seem like an emergency? I do not have a fever.

I also have a headache

Hi my dear,

I understand your concern.

It seems that you are having a neurological problem that need further evaluated as it is persisting for 8 hours now without any improvement.

I'd recommend to take a pain killer like ibuprofen or paracetamol. If no improvement, then, should go to ER for immediate evaluation and treatment.
