Question : I get a burning feeling on the top of my foot, and sometimes, too, at the rear of that leg, just a few inches above the heel/Achilles tendon. It hurt for a few minutes, then let's up. Would this be a skin condition or a vascular condition?

Brief Answer:
It is not a skin disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

It is not a skin disease, because changes on skin should be evident too.

Due to your previous vascular blockage history, it could be a vascular issue, such arteriosclerosis that is causing your symptoms.

Sice you are diabetic too, peripheral neuropathy should e considered too.

Doppler ultrasound and nerve conduction study are necessary to get a correct diagnosis of your condition.

Discuss with your Doctor about these issues.

Kind regards.
